Support of Intergenerational Dialogue and Cultural Older Adults´ Participation as Tools of Transfering and Sharing Cultural Values at Local and Regional Levels

The fundamental goal of the project presented is to encourage older people’s cultural participation and the associated positive intergenerational impact of cultural events and activities at the local and regional levels. The project’s implementation will provide public administration with comprehensive guidelines for systematic encouragement of intergenerational transfer and sharing of cultural values through cultural dialogue at the local and regional levels. In that way, public policies in the area can significantly contribute to intergenerational cohabitation. The project enhances understanding of a character of the mechanisms of intergenerational dialogue that is connected with learning and cultural transmission in the contexts of local and regional cultural events and initiatives. It shows the possibilities and indentify the competences (of public administration sector), that need to be strengthened if we want to improve the mechanisms of dialogue. The practical goal of the project is to offer the set of recommendations how to support the process of intergenerational dialogue and create the space for its functions in the public space of the municipalities and regions.

Analysis of Use of House of Culture in Přibyslav

The bachelor's thesis is focused on use of houses of culture built in 1948-1989 in the 21st century. Their position in the cultural infrastructure is represented by the house of culture in Přibyslav. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the current operation of the house of culture in Přibyslav and to propose the appropriate changes for its future effective use. The theoretical part is focused on the building of the houses of culture after 1945, their functions and use related to the role of culture. Furthermore, it is focused on the situation of houses of culture after 1989 including actual statistical data. The practical part comprises the characteristic of Přibyslav, its cultural infrastructure and especially local house of culture. It includes the evaluation of its operation in terms of organisation, funding, propagation and program of events. Conclusion of the thesis contains a summary of the weaknesses according to the interviews with the representatives of the town and Kulturní zařízení města Přibyslav organisation.
Transformation of the Cinema Infrastructure in the Czech Republic in 1989-2009

The presented thesis deals with the description of the infrastructure of the cinemas and their location in the Czech Republic in the period of 1989-2009. Special attention is given to the process of transformation of filmmaking and the course of privatization of the cinema industry. The second part is devoted to the development process in terms of number of cinemas, their concentration with regard to the regions and also the distribution of particular types of the cinema within the Czech Republic. Further, two specific types of cinemas are being compared - the cinema complexes and art cinemas. Comparison is made in terms of their general location, their placement within the city and their dramaturgy. On the map attached at the end of the thesis one can see the development and concentration of cinema complexes in the area of the Czech Republic beginning with the openning of the first complex and ending in the year 2009. New model of cultural center

Culture and Art have, without a doubt, always been major development factors for people and the society as a whole. However, there is no effortless access for everyone or everywhere. This Thesis is focused on the phenomenon of the multifunctional cultural center as an institution developing and initiating cultural and communal life in a region or in a smaller regional city with no cultural infrastructure or background. The first part deals with the discursus of the contemporary cultural centers. Apart from the management issues of the centers, this Thesis handles their work with their target groups as well as their today's mission and activities, which all make these institutions unique. The short summary of the Czech culture centers typology is included; it maps their basic forms in the Czech Republic. The Thesis is ended with a factual proposal of a new multifunctional culture center, which puts the cultural awakening of the citizenry to a more creative way of life with a sense of belonging as its main priority.
Using the Potencial of Culture and Cultural Infastructure in the Region Bohemian Paradise

The following thesis deals with the cultural heritage of the Bohemian Paradise. Theoretically process the information about the Bohemian Paradise and about the selected cultural monuments. It defines the concepts of cultural infrastructure and cultural potential. The thesis closer focuses on castles, mansions and folk architecture. Further it analysis the cultural infrastructure of area called Turnovsko. An important part of this thesis is the overall evaluation of the cultural potential. The practical part contains a survey among the inhabitants of the Bohemian Paradise.
Role of Municipalities in the Development of Culture and Cultural Heritage

This bachelor thesis is concerned with culture support at national and municipal level. It follows conceptions of cultural policy with special focus on the Capital City of Prague. The aim of this thesis is to identify how the Municipality of Prague contributes to the support and development of culture which is also connected with a role of municipal authorities and urban neighborhood participation. The theoretical part of this thesis acquaints with basic notions of culture and cultural heritage yield, it adverts to the importance of culture as a factor in development from the social and economic point of view, the practical part is dedicated to basic characteristics of culture and cultural events in Prague and to the conceptions of its cultural and grant policy.
Cultural heritage and cultural infrastructure of Hořice

The main focus of this bachelor thesis is on the town of Hořice v Podkrkonoší and its cultural heritage and cultural infrastructure. Bachelor thesis has two main parts. The first part deals with sense of idea local culture, cultural heritage, cultural potential and cultural infrastructure. The following part is engaged in changes of cultural heritage and cultural infrastructure after year 1989. Second part is practical and analyses cultural heritage and cultural infrastructure from side finance, management, marketing. Additionally, the next part introduces an elaborated and processed questionnaire survey, made in Hořice in the year 2010. Based on the analyses and questionnaire, the last part deals with potential resolutions, which can improve situation of cultural infrastructure and cultural heritage in Hořice v Podkrkonoší.
